The USS JOHN F KENNEDY named for the 35th president entered service in 1968 as CVA-67 ,attack aircraft carrier. this classificaton was changed to CV-67 to include anti-submarine warfare operations and aircraft in her duties. September 1995 saw the USS John F Kennedy become the Navel Reserve's first aircraft carrier to support navy training requirments .

 West Coast ATC  will be hosting sessions in both Florida  starting in kjax and Maryland  at 4MD0.
